Chicken Gravy

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Stir in flour and mix thoroughly.
  3. Add milk a little at a time.
  4. To avoid lumps, whisk the milk in or just stir really thoroughly after each addition of milk.
  5. Keep stirring until sauce thickens.
  6. (Cook until it's the consistency you like.
  7. If it gets too thick, you can just add more milk.
  8. ).
  9. Stir in chicken.
  10. Add salt and pepper to taste.
