Veal Patty Scallopini

  1. Combine the egg, milk, bread crumbs, salt and pepper.
  2. Add ground veal; mix well.
  3. Shape mixture into 6 patties; coat with flour.
  4. In skillet, brown patties in hot Crisco; drain off fat. Combine tomato sauce, undrained mushrooms, water, parsley, crushed oregano and garlic powder; pour over meat.
  5. Cover; simmer 20 to 25 minutes.
