Hot Cranberry Tea Recipe

  1. In a large 6 qt vessel (preferably granite) combine the first 7 ingredients; place on medium heat till almost to the boiling point.
  2. Stir frequently.
  3. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 1 hour.
  4. Add in the color.
  5. This beverage can be kept warm till serving time or possibly reheated when needed.
  6. Just before serving, when the tea has been transferred to the heated punch bowl or possibly other heated vessel, add in the ginger ale or possibly 7 Up (10 ounces per 1 1/2 qts).
