Strawberry Ice Cream Salad

• 3 (3 ounce) packages strawberry Jell-O gelatin dessert
• 3 cups hot water
• 2 (10 ounce) packages frozen strawberries, still frozen
• 14 gallon vanilla ice cream, softened

1. Dissolve jello in hot water, stir in frozen strawberries.
2. Whip softened ice cream in with mixer.
3. I find it is easiest to put this mixture in a large roaster pan and mix with a hand mixer, otherwise you will have pink speckled walls.
4. Chill until set.
