Sea Side Pasta Recipe
- 1/4 c. extra virgin olive oil
- 2 cloves garlic, chopped
- 3 tbsp. fresh chopped parsley
- 1/4 c. minced celery
- 1/4 c. minced mushrooms
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano, crushed
- 1 can water-packed tuna or possibly 1 can chopped clams
- 1/4 c. white wine
- 1 (8 ounce.) can minced tomatoes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 bag twisty pasta
- Saute/fry garlic, parsley, celery and mushroom in heated oil for 1-2 min.
- Add in tuna (or possibly clams) and white wine.
- Add in crushed oregano and salt and pepper; simmer gently on low heat for 10 min.
- Keep warm while cooking pasta.
- Cook pasta according to package; drain well and serve seafood mix tossed on pasta.
- Goes great with salad and sour dough rolls!
- Serves 4.
