Loaded Mashed Potatoe Crokettes #SP5

  1. Mix potatoes, 1/2 cup flour and cheese in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Fry bacon until very crispy.
  3. Drain bacon on paper towel.
  4. Let cool.
  5. After bacon is cool, chop bacon very finely.
  6. Add and mix bacon to batter.
  7. Preheat oil to 180 degrees.
  8. While oil is heating, pour 1 cup of flour out on a baking sheet.
  9. Add batter to baking sheet and knead in flour.
  10. Roll batter into one long round strip.
  11. Cut potatoe batter into 1 1/2 inch stripes.
  12. Roll strips in leftover flour and gentle lay the strips in oil and let fry for 2-3 minutes Lay crokettes on paper towel and transfer to dinner plate and enjoy!
  13. These tasty treats can be served alone or with you favor meal.
  14. These could also be enjoyed with sour cream or your favorite gravy.
  15. This is also a great recipe for kids to have a hand on expierence :).
