Cherry Cobbler

  1. Heat oven to 375F.
  2. Reserve 2 Tbsp.
  3. sugar for later use.
  4. Mix remaining sugar and tapioca in large saucepan; stir in water and lemon juice.
  5. Bring to boil.
  6. Add cherries; cook 2 min., stirring frequently.
  7. Pour into 8- or 9-inch square baking dish sprayed with cooking spray.
  8. Mix baking mix, reserved sugar and cinnamon in medium bowl.
  9. Add milk; stir until mixture forms soft dough.
  10. Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls onto hot fruit mixture; top with nuts.
  11. Bake 28 to 30 min.
  12. or until biscuit topping is golden brown.
  13. Cool slightly.
