Gingered Pear Crisp

  1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. In a small bowl, combine flour, gingerroot, and brown sugar.
  2. Add butter and mix until crumbly.
  3. Stir in pecans.
  4. Peel, core, and thinly slice the pears into a greased 8-inch baking pan.
  5. Sprinkle the flour mixture over the pears and bake for 30 minutes.
  6. Serve warm or room temperature.
