Pecan Christmas Cake Recipe

• 1 pound light brown sugar, firmly packed
• 6 Large eggs
• 1 teaspoon baking pwdr
• 1 pound all-purpose flour
• 1/2 pound butter
• 1 pound seeded raisins
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 pound whole pecans

1. Cream butter and sugar.
2. Add in beaten Large eggs.
3. Use a little flour to coat raisins.
4. Add in salt and baking pwdr to flour.
5. Add in raisins and flour to egg mix.
6. Add in nuts.
7. Bake in a tube pan lined with greased paper.
8. Bake at 300 degrees for 2 1/2 hrs.
9. Makes 5 pounds.
