Chicken Teriyaki Barbeque Recipe
- 1 (3 1/2 lb.) chicken, cut into 4ths or possibly 8ths
- 3/4 c. soy sauce (light or possibly reg.)
- 1 c. sherry wine
- 6-8 cloves garlic, slivered
- 1 tbsp. honey
- 2 lg. onions, sliced
- 1/8 teaspoon powdered ginger (scant) may use fresh ginger
- Stir together soy sauce, sherry wine, honey and ginger.
- Put chicken in marinade and add in onions and garlic.
- Stir to cover chicken completely with all ingredients.
- Marinate for 1 1/2 hrs.
- Cook on charcoal grill, turning so which all sides are brown.
