Pepito Gourmet Venezuela Loin Sandwich
- 1 1/2 lb Tenderloin or sirloin meat, cut in chunks
- 3 tbsp Oliver or vegetable oil
- 3 tbsp Barbecue sauce
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tbsp Dark soy sauce
- 1 dash Hot sauce (optional)
- 2 20-inch baguettes or any other long bread
- 1 Ripe tomate, cut in fine chunks
- 3 tbsp Chopped onion
- 1 tbsp Cilantro, finely chopped
- 4 Lettuce leaves, coarsely chopped
- 1 Pink sauce (optional)
- 1 Salt and pepper, to taste
- Begin by preparing the vegetables, mixing them and adding salt and pepper to taste.
- Prepare the meat by heating the oil in skillet and adding it, browning the surface but leaving it red in the inside.
- Take out the meat and add the meat and continue cooking until the meat is done as you prefer.
- Adjust the salt & pepper.
- Cut the 2 baguettes in 4 pieces and open them longitudinally.
- Fill them with the meat with all the sauce and top with the chopped vegetables and good squirt of pink sauce.
- You can heat the opened baguettes over a hot plate or pannini grill, just as it is done where it is normally served
