Easy Minestrone

  1. Cook onion in oil in large saucepan or Dutch oven 3 to 4 minutes or until tender, stirring occasionally.
  2. Add remaining vegetables; stir.
  3. Cover.
  4. Cook 5 minutes.
  5. Add water, sauce and beans; stir.
  6. Bring to boil.
  7. Reduce heat to low; simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until carrots are tender, stirring occasionally.
  8. Add pasta and pepper flakes; cook until thoroughly heated, stirring occasionally.
  9. Serve with DI GIORNO Shredded Parmesan Cheese, if desired.
