Fluffy Gold Cake

  1. Sift together dry ingredients and put in mixing bowl.
  2. Add shortening and half the milk.
  3. Mix.
  4. Add remaining milk, vanilla, and egg yolks.
  5. Blend well.
  6. Pour into 2 greased and floured round layer pans and bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
