3 ingredient Country ribs
- 1 package country style pork ribs
- 1 onion, quartered
- 1 favorite rib rub/spice mix
- Peel the onion skin off and toss.
- Quarter the onion and place it in the bottom of your crock pot.
- Don't worry, even the pickiest of eaters won't realize there was onion involved.
- Rinse ribs and pat dry.
- Liberally sprinkle rub/spice mix onto all sides of ribs.
- Place ribs in crockpot and cook on low for 8-10 hours.
- This can also be done on the stove in a stock pot, but add 1/4-1/2 c of water if cooking it by stove.
- Pull ribs from crock pot and watch them fall apart.
- I usually add my favorite BBQ sauce at that point, but they really don't even need it.
- Serve with favorite sides.
- Mine usually get paired with sauteed summer squash and rice.
