Banana Home Style (Jamaican) Recipe
- 1/4 lb cof fish
- 8 x green bananas
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 x onion
- 1 sm cucumber
- 1 x carrot
- 1 sm - bundle callaloo or possibly spinach
- 1 ounce butter melted
- Soak pork and fish in cool water.
- Boil bananas and mash while warm.
- Brush with melted butter and make into balls.
- Chop calloloo finely.
- Clean and flake fish.
- Cut pork into small cubes.
- Fry fish and pork together.
- Combine with callaloo, salt and onion.
- Steam till callaloo is tender.
- Arrange on platter with banana balls around.
- Garnish with sliced carrot, tomato and cucumber.
