Butterscotch Cheese Bars
- 1 (11 ounce) package butterscotch chips
- 13 cup butter (can substitute margarine)
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
- 2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1 cup nuts (chopped fine)
- 14 ounces sweetened condensed milk
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 egg
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- In medium saucepan, melt chips and butter.
- When creamy add crumbs and nuts.
- Press one half of the mixture firmly into a well greased 9 X 13 pan.
- In a large bowl beat cheese until fluffy, beat in milk, vanilla and egg.
- Pour over cust and sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes.
- Cool completely before cutting into bars.
- Refrigerate leftovers.
- These bars freeze well.
