Purple People Eater Salad

  1. In a large bowl, mix Jello with 1 cup boiling water and stir until Jello is dissolved.
  2. Add the pie filling and crushed pineapple (with juice) to the Jello mixture and blend well.
  3. Refrigerate until mixture begins to thicken.
  4. Add the whipped topping, marshmallows and pecans.
  5. Pour into a large glass serving dish and chill.
  6. Serve cold.
