Homemade Vanilla Ice Cream Recipe
- 1 lg. pkg. Jello french vanilla instant pudding
- 8 ounce. Cold Whip
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- Lowfat milk, at least 1 gallon
- Mix sugar and 1 qt lowfat milk.
- Stir till sugar dissolves.
- Add in Cold Whip and stir.
- Pour into ice cream freezer container.
- Mix pudding and 1 qt lowfat milk.
- Stir till pudding starts to gel.
- Pour in freezer container.
- Add in sufficient lowfat milk to fill freezer to fill line.
- Freeze according to directions.
- Variations: Add in fruit such as pineapple, peaches, and strawberries to freezer and then add in lowfat milk mix to fill container to fill line.
- To make chocolate ice cream, use chocolate pudding and chocolate lowfat milk.
