Fried Ravioli
- 24 whole Cheese Ravioli (store Bought Or Homemade)
- 1 loaf Crusty French Bread
- 1/4 teaspoons Red Pepper Flakes
- 1 teaspoon Basil
- 1 teaspoon Oregano
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Thyme
- 1 teaspoon Rosemary
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
- 1 whole Egg
- 1/2 cups Milk
- 1/2 quarts Vegetable Oil
- 1/2 cups Parmesan Cheese
- 1.
- Let bread become a bit stale, then make breadcrumbs out of it in a food processor.
- 2.
- Add in all seasonings.
- 3.
- Put seasoned breadcrumbs on a large plate.
- 4.
- Whisk together egg and milk.
- 5.
- Dip each ravioli in the egg/milk and then cover in breadcrumbs.
- 6.
- Drop carefully into vegetable oil heated to 350F.
- Be sure to not overcrowd your pot.
- Give them plenty of room.
- 7.
- Cook for 1 to 2 minutes on each side.
- 8.
- Carefully remove from the oil to drain on a plate lined with paper towels.
- Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese while hot.
- Serve with marinara and enjoy!
- (If you have leftover breadcrumbs, they are excellent for baked chicken fingers.)
