Banana Custard Pudding

  1. In a saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch and salt.
  2. Gradually add milk; cook and stir over medium heat until mixture comes to a boil.
  3. Cook and stir 2 minutes longer.
  4. Stir a small amount into the egg yolks, return tothe pan.
  5. Cook and stir until thickened.
  6. Remove from heat; stir in vanilla.
  7. Chill for 1 hour.
  8. Just before serving, fold in banana.
