Mickey's Fried Ice Cream Recipe

  1. Scoop ice cream into 4 balls.
  2. Freeze until very hard.
  3. Blend egg whites into almond paste until smooth.
  4. Dip ice cream balls into almond paste mixtures then coat heavily with graham cracker crumbs.
  5. Freeze until very hard.
  6. Store wrapped, in freezer until serving time.
  7. When ready to serve, heat oil in a 1 1/2 qt saucepan to 300 degrees.
  8. Fry one at a time until golden about 15 seconds.
  9. Drain on paper towels.
  10. Serve at once in a champagne glass with half a peach.
  11. Top with vanilla sauce, minced walnuts and sprig of mint.
