- Add Cheese, basil, Italian Seasoning, Onion powder, Salt & Pepper and mix well.
- Add Turkey meat and stir until all ingredients are blended together.
- Make meatballs, about 2" in diameter.
- (The meatballs will be "wet", but don't add extra breadcrumbs or anything else, they will fry up perfectly.
- ).
- Coat the bottom of large frying pan with olive oil and heat over medium heat.
- Add meatballs to oil and cover with lid.
- Fry about 5 minutes.
- Meatballs will most likely "stick" to the bottom of the pan slightly, but use a spatula to turn them over gently.
- They are ready to turn over when they are golden brown.
- Once you have turned over the meatballs, cover again with lid and fry for another 5 minutes.
- Remove lid and check bottom of the meatball, once they are golden brown all over, add them to your favorite pasta sauce and simmer for about 20-30 minutes.
- Enjoy!
