Best Peanut Butter Cookies Recipe

• 1 c. shortening
• 1 1/2 c. sugar
• 1 1/2 c. chunky peanut butter
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 Large eggs
• 1 1/2 c. sifted flour
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 1 teaspoon soda

1. Mix shortening and sugar thoroughly, add in peanut butter, mix well, add in vanilla and Large eggs, beat well.
2. Sift flour, soda and salt together.
3. Stir into mix.
4. Shape dough into roll, wrap in plastic wrap, chill, slice and bake at 400 degrees about 10 min.
5. This dough freezes well, may be sliced and baked frzn, but make take a little longer in baking.
