Blind Pierogi Recipe
- 1 pound #64 spiral macaroni
- 1 can golden brown mushroom soup
- 2 (4 ounce.) cans mushroom stems & pcs, liquid removed
- 1 lg. can sauerkraut, liquid removed & unrinsed
- 8 med. onions, sliced thin
- 1/2 pound butter
- 2 tbsp. vegetable oil
- Salt & pepper to taste
- Cook macaroni 3/4 hour.
- Let stand 1/2 hour covered with water.
- Saute/fry onions in butter.
- Add in liquid removed sauerkraut.
- Drain macaroni.
- Mix with oil.
- Add in to sauerkraut mix.
- Mix.
- Add in remaining ingredients and mix.
- Place in 9 x 13 inch baking pan.
- Cover with foil.
- Bake at 375 degrees for 30 min.
