Quick Green Bean Casserole
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can cream of mushroom soup (undiluted)
- 1 c. commercial sour cream
- 5 cloves garlic, crushed, or 1/2 tsp. garlic powder
- 3 (16 oz.) cans French-style green beans, drained
- 1 c. saltine cracker crumbs
- 2 c. (8 oz.) shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1/4 c. melted butter or margarine
- 1 (3 oz.) can French fried onion rings or 1/3 c. toasted sliced almonds
- Combine soup, sour cream and garlic.
- Add green beans; stir well.
- Put in a greased 1 1/2-quart casserole.
- Combine cracker crumbs, cheese and butter; sprinkle on casserole.
- Bake, uncovered, at 350u0b0 for 20 minutes.
- Top with French fried onion rings or toasted sliced almonds.
- Bake 10 additional minutes. Yields 10 to 12 servings.
