LADY LOCK SQUARES

  1. Cook milk and flour until mixture thickens; Cook 2 more minutes; Cool
  2. Beat Crisco, sugar, and vanilla until fluffy
  3. Add cooled milk/flour mixture; Beat until there are no sugar crystals remaining
  4. Cut pastry sheets into 1" squares; Place on baking sheet 2" apart
  5. Bake 350F (180C) for 15 minutes
  6. Cool, remove tops, and fill; Replace tops and dust w/powdered sugar
