Black Bean Turkey Burgers With Avocado Ranch Sauce
- 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1- 1/4 pound Ground Turkey
- 1/2 cans (15 Oz. Size) Black Beans, Drained, Rinsed And Slightly Mashed (You An Use The Whole Can If You Like)
- 1 cup Crushed Tortilla Chips, Any Kind
- 1 Tablespoon Chili Powder
- 1 Tablespoon Ground Cumin
- 1/2 teaspoons Salt
- 1/2 teaspoons Pepper
- 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- 1/2 teaspoons Onion Powder
- 6 whole Hamburger Buns
- 6 leaves Lettuce
- 2 whole Ripe Avocados
- 1 cup Ranch Dressing
- 1/2 cups Milk
- 1/2 cups Sour Cream
- 1/4 cups Fresh Lime Juice
- 2 teaspoons Hot Sauce
- 1/2 teaspoons Pepper
- 1/2 teaspoons Garlic Powder
- For the avocado ranch sauce:
- Cut avocados in half, remove pit and scoop pulp out of the peel into a food processor or blender.
- Add 1 cup ranch dressing and remaining ingredients into the food processor.
- Process until avocado mixture is smooth, stopping to scrape down sides of the bowl a couple of times.
- Cover and chill at least 1 hour or up to 3 days.
- For the burgers: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- In a large bowl, combine the turkey, beans, tortilla chips, chili powder, cumin, salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder.
- Use your hands to form the mixture into 6 equal sized patties.
- Put the patties into the skillet and cook until no longer pink in the middle, 4 to 5 minutes per side.
- Serve on buns with avocado ranch sauce and some lettuce.
