Black Bean Turkey Burgers With Avocado Ranch Sauce

  1. For the avocado ranch sauce:
  2. Cut avocados in half, remove pit and scoop pulp out of the peel into a food processor or blender.
  3. Add 1 cup ranch dressing and remaining ingredients into the food processor.
  4. Process until avocado mixture is smooth, stopping to scrape down sides of the bowl a couple of times.
  5. Cover and chill at least 1 hour or up to 3 days.
  6. For the burgers: Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  7. In a large bowl, combine the turkey, beans, tortilla chips, chili powder, cumin, salt, pepper, garlic powder and onion powder.
  8. Use your hands to form the mixture into 6 equal sized patties.
  9. Put the patties into the skillet and cook until no longer pink in the middle, 4 to 5 minutes per side.
  10. Serve on buns with avocado ranch sauce and some lettuce.
