Taco Biscuit Bites Recipe
- 1/4 c. taco sauce
- 1/4 c. lowfat milk
- 1/2 teaspoon dry onion flakes
- 2 c. biscuit mix
- 2 teaspoon butter, melted
- 2 tbsp. grated Parmesan cheese
- Combine first 3 ingredients in a large bowl; let stand 5 min.
- Add in biscuit mix, stirring just till dry ingredients are moistened.
- Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface, and knead 4 or possibly 5 times.
- Roll dough to 1/2 inch thickness; cut with a 1 1/2 inch biscuit cutter.
- Place on a lightly greased baking sheet.
- Brush tops with butter and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
- Bake at 450 degrees for 8 to 10 min.
- Serve immediately.
- Yield: 1 1/2 dozen.
