Border Punch

  1. In a large saucepan put the Scotch whisky, ginger wine, the honey, the orange juice, and the orange peel.
  2. Heat the mixture but do not let it boil.
  3. Serve the punch in 4-ounce mugs and garnish each serving with a strip of the clove-studded peel.
