Austin, Texas Barbecue Paste

  1. Mix all the dry seasonings and butter together, and then add just enough beer/water to create a paste.
  2. Rub this paste on venison or other game, using a hearty coating.
  3. It is best if the meat can marinate for a few hours before cooking.
