Turkey Broccoli Morsels
- 1 slice Multi Grain Bread
- 8 ounces, weight Kosher White Ground Turkey
- 1 cup Steamed Brocooli
- 1 whole Organic Free Range Egg
- 1 teaspoon Pink Salt
- 1 pinch Poultry Seasoning
- 1 pinch Nutmeg
- 2 cups Panko Crumbs
- 2 Tablespoons Oil Or Oil Spray
- If you dont have a food processor, you can use a blender.
- Before I got my processor I always used a blender and it works almost as well.
- Place the bread slices in the blender or processor and pulse until they turn to medium crumbs.
- Add the turkey, broccoli, egg, salt, poultry seasoning and nutmeg.
- Pulse until the mixture is completely combined and the broccoli is flecked throughout the ground turkey.
- Mold a tablespoon of the mixture into a nugget shape; continue with the rest of the mixture.
- Roll the morsels in the panko crumbs until well-coated.
- Coat a baking tray with oil and place in a preheated 390 degrees F oven for 5 minutes.
- Take out of the oven and place the morsels on the tray in one layer.
- Bake for 15 minutes on one side, flip and then bake for another 10 minutes, or until internal temperature is at least 165 degrees F.
