Scalloped Onions
- 2 onions, thinly sliced
- 12 cup butter
- 8 ounces sour cream
- 12 teaspoon salt
- 8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
- 15 ounces creamed corn
- 1 egg
- 8 12 ounces Jiffy corn muffin mix
- 13 cup milk
- Combine corn, milk, muffin mix, egg, and Tabasco sauce to taste.
- Spread in 9X13 buttered pan.
- Sautee onions in butter until soft and sweet.
- Stir in sour cream, salt, and half of the cheese.
- Spread on top of muffin mix.
- Sprinkle with remaining cheese.
- Bake 40-45 minutes at 425 degrees.
