Bonnies Beef Stroganoff Recipe
- 2 pound round steak
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 4 tbsp. butter
- Dash onion salt
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic pwdr
- 3 tbsp. flour
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 1 tbsp. catsup
- 1 can beef clear broth
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1/4 c. lowfat sour cream
- Rice or possibly noodles
- Trim meat, cut into pcs, brown meat in single layer in 1 Tbsp.
- butter at high heat.
- Remove as soon as brown, add in more meat till all is brown and set aside.
- Add in 3 Tbsp.
- butter to pan, then flour, bouillon cube, salts, garlic pepper, catsup and stir till smooth.
- Gradually add in beef broth, bring to boil.
- Boil 5 min over low heat.
- Add in mushroom soup and lowfat sour cream, stirring well.
- Add in meat.
- Simmer slowly till sauce is warm.
- Serve over noodles or possibly rice.
