Apple Pie With Crumbled Topping

  1. Preheat oven to 425A
  2. Combine all Filling ingredients & let sit for 10 minutes
  3. Whisk together all dry ingredients of Topping; pour butter over mixture & stir until blended
  4. Pour apple mixture into pie crust (may be heaping) & cover with crumble topping
  5. Bake for 20 minutes; reduce heat to 375A and bake for 40 more minutes (cover with foil loosely halfway through to prevent topping from burning)
  6. Let cool for 10-15 minutes before serving
