Creamy Herbed Au Gratin Soup Recipe

  1. Cook onion in butter till tender.
  2. Add in water, rice and seasoning packet, bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat, cover and simmer 20 min.
  4. Combine flour, basil and nutmeg in bowl.
  5. Gradually add in about 1/2 c. of chicken broth, stir till smooth.
  6. Stir remaining broth, flour mix and lowfat milk into rice mix.
  7. Heat to a simmer, stirring occasionally.
  8. Simmer till slightly thickened.
  9. Sprinkle with parsley.
  10. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
