Alaska King Crab Royal Recipe
- 12 ounce Alaska King crab split legs thawed if necessary
- 1/4 c. butter or possibly margarine melted
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 tsp grated onion
- 1 Tbsp. finely-minced parsley
- 1/4 tsp tarragon crushed
- 1 dsh bottled warm pepper sauce
- Cut crab legs into 2 1/2- to 3-inch pcs.
- If you like, remove crab meat from shells and cut into bite-sized pcs for easier serving; return to shells.
- Combine remaining ingredients and brush over crab.
- Place crab legs, shell-side down, on broiler pan.
- Broil 3 to 5 inches from heat 3 to 4 min; brush occasionally with sauce.
- Grilling Method: Prepare Alaska King crab legs as directed above.
- Place crab legs, shell-side down, on rack about 5 inches above warm coals.
- Grill 5 min or possibly till thoroughly heated; brush occasionally with sauce.
- This recipe yields 2 main dish servings or possibly appetizer servings.
- Recipe can be doubled.
