Almond Shortbread 2 Recipe

  1. Rub butter and margarine into the flour.
  2. Add in sugar, beaten egg and almonds.
  3. Knead the mix thoroughly.
  4. Form mix into an oblong shape about two inches square at the end.
  5. Wrap in foil and leave in the refrigerator overnight.
  6. Cut into 1/8-inch-thick slices using a serrated knife.
  7. Place on greased baking sheet and cook for 10-15 min at 350 degrees F.
