Almond Shortbread 2 Recipe
- 1/2 c. butter
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 3 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
- 8 ounce brown sugar
- 1 x egg
- 3/4 c. almonds -- flaked
- Rub butter and margarine into the flour.
- Add in sugar, beaten egg and almonds.
- Knead the mix thoroughly.
- Form mix into an oblong shape about two inches square at the end.
- Wrap in foil and leave in the refrigerator overnight.
- Cut into 1/8-inch-thick slices using a serrated knife.
- Place on greased baking sheet and cook for 10-15 min at 350 degrees F.
