Homemade Peanut Butter
- 1 Food Processor or High Speed Blender
- 1 Rubber Spatula
- 2 cup Roasted Virginia, unsalted, shelled peanuts
- 3 tbsp Peanut Oil
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 Light Brown Sugar or Honey for taste ( optioal)
- Blend peanuts in processor/blender, adding oil slowly till smooth or at the desired consistency is reached.
- If you want chunky, then add chopped peanuts after you have made the smooth version.
- Using the spatula, scrap butter into an airtight container.
- Store in refrigeratior up to 2 - 3 months.
- Makes approximately 2 to 2 1/2 cups.
