Glazed Raisin Biscuits Recipe
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 1/2 c. biscuit mix
- 2 tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. raisins
- 1 egg, beaten
- 2/3 c. lowfat milk
- Vanilla glaze
- Combine first 4 ingredients in medium bowl.
- Add in egg and lowfat milk, stirring just till dry ingredients are moistened.
- Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead 4 or possibly 5 times.
- Roll dough 1/2 inch thick.
- Cut with 2 inch biscuit cutter.
- Place on lightly greased baking sheet.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 15 min or possibly till golden.
- Brush with vanilla glaze.
