Beer Broiled Beef
- 4 pounds beef cubed
- 1 pint beer
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 3 each onions sliced
- 1/2 cup flour, all-purpose
- 4 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon black pepper ground
- 2 each garlic cloves chopped
- Melt butter in large skillet and saute onions until tender.
- Dredge beef cubes in flour and brown them in a separate skillet with oil and butter.
- Add browned meat, salt, pepper and garlic to onions.
- Add enough beer to cover.
- Cover tightly and simmer until meat is tender.
