Sausage & Cheese Stuffed Shells
- 1 box 12oz. Jumbo Pasta Shells
- 1 lb Ground Italian Hot Sausage
- 1 16 oz. Container Ricotta Cheese
- 3 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese divided
- 1 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese divided
- 1 Salt & Pepper to taste
- 1 Garlic Powder to taste
- 1 Onion Powder to taste
- 3 cup Pasta Sauce
- 1 tbsp Parsley Flakes
- 2 tsp Olive Oil
- 1 Italian Seasoning for garnish
- Pre heat oven to 350
- In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil.
- Enough to cover shells.
- Cook shells for 9 minutes.
- Remove shells, drain water, and place on a wax paper covered cookie sheet to cool.
- In a skillet, brown sausage meat, seasoned with salt &pepper, garlic & onion powder, and set aside to cool.
- In a large bowl, mix together the ricotta cheese, 1 and 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, and 1/2 cup parmesan cheese.
- Mix until well blended, add parsley and sausage.
- Mix together until well blended.
- Lightly grease a baking pan with olive oil.
- Add thin layer of pasta sauce.
- Take shells and stuff each one with sausage and cheese mixture.
- Place shells in pan, cover with pasta sauce, remaining mozzarella and parmesan cheese.
- Garnish with Italian Seasoning and bake for 30 minutes.
- Enjoy!
