Baked Mushroom Bacon Pasta With Egg #Ragu

  1. Slice onion thinly.
  2. In a bowl, mix together panko bread crumbs and parmesan cheese.
  3. Cook spaghetti followed by the package directions.
  4. While the spaghetti is cooking, cook bacon in a non-stick skillet over medium heat until crisp.
  5. Drain on paper towels.
  6. Then chop bacons.
  7. Put the onions into the same skillet as the bacons were cooked and cook onion over medium heat until tender.
  8. Then stir in the pasta sauce.
  9. Reduce heat to medium-low and simmer for 1-2 minutes.
  10. When the pasta has cooked, drain in a colander and put the pasta into the skillet.
  11. Toss to coat.
  12. Transfer the pasta with the sauce into a serving ramekin (24 oz.).
  13. Make a deep dent in the center and crack in egg into the dent.
  14. Sprinkle bacons then panko breadcrumbs mixture over the top and bake in preheated 400 degrees F oven for about 10 minutes until top is golden brown and egg white is set yet yolks is still runny or your desired doneness.
