Best Ever Potato Soup Recipe
- 3 slices bacon (save 3 tbsp. fat)
- 1 tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 2 cans cream of chicken soup
- 2 c. cubed potatoes
- 2 cans lowfat milk measured in soup cans
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 c. water
- Cracked pepper to taste
- Saute/fry lightly bacon and onion.
- In Dutch oven or possibly large pan, add in onion and bacon that has been crumbled with potatoes and water.
- Cook covered 15 min or possibly till tender.
- Add in remaining ingredients - heat thoroughly, don't boil for more than 5 min.
- (Can be frzn).
