Easy Pork Chops in Tomatoes
- 6 pork chops
- salt and pepper
- 1 large onion, slivered
- 2 (16 ounce) cans diced tomatoes
- 1 (6 ounce) candiced mild green chilies
- 1 tablespoon liquid smoke
- Pre-heat oven to 375 degrees.
- Place pork chops in a single layer in a baking dish.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Spread silvered onions evenly over pork chops.
- In a seperate bowl mix diced tomatoes, diced green chiles and liquid smoke.
- Spread evenly over pork chops.
- Bake for 35-40 minutes or until internal temperature of pork chops reads 160 degrees.
