Mamaw Betty's Barbecue Sauce

• 16 ounces ketchup
• 1 teaspoon black pepper
• 12 cup light brown sugar
• 3 tablespoons vinegar
• 2 tablespoons Frank's red hot sauce

1. Mix all ingredients together in a medium saucepan.
2. Simmer over low heat for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
3. Remove from heat and let cool.
4. Store in refrigerator.
