Quick Asparagus Stir Fry
- 1 12 tablespoons oil
- 1 lb asparagus, trimmed and cut diagonally into 1-inch lengths
- 14 cup chicken broth or 14 cup water
- 14 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon pepper
- 1 dash soy sauce or 1 dash oriental sesame oil
- Heat oil in large nonstick skillet or wok.
- Add asparagus, saute 1 minute.
- Add broth.
- Cover.
- Lower heat; cook until tender, 3 to 5 minutes.
- Drain.
- Season with salt, pepper and soy sauce.
- Serve immediately.
