Persimmon Bread Recipe

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Combine flour, pastry flour, baking soda, salt, mace, and cloves in a mixing bowl.
  3. Set aside.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat eggs, butter, honey, brown sugar, bourbon, and persimmons.
  5. Add the liquid mix to the dry mix, stirring just until moistened.
  6. Pour in walnuts and raisins.
  7. Pour the batter into two loaf pans.
  8. Bake for 1 hour.
