Pesto Pita Wedges

  1. Preheat the oven to 400F.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the fresh basil, Parmesan cheese and garlic powder.
  3. Coat the top of the pitas with non-stick cooking spray.
  4. Evenly spread the basil mixture over the tops of the pitas.
  5. Coat again with non-stick cooking spray.
  6. Sprinkle with salt& freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  7. Cut each pita into 8 wedges.
  8. Transfer to a baking sheet and bake for 5 to 8 minutes, or until pita wedges are golden and crisp.
