Slow Cooker John Wayne Casserole
- 32 oz frozen tater tots
- 1 lb hamburger
- 1 diced onions & green peppers
- 1 1/2 oz taco mix
- 1 water
- 1 cup sour cream
- 8 oz shredded sharp cheddar
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1 diced tomato
- Spray 6-qt slow cooker.
- Add tater tots.
- Brown hamburger, onion & green peppers.
- Drain.
- Add water and taco mix
- Pour over tots.
- In bowl, add sour cream, salt, pepper, onion powder, & half shredded sharp cheddar.
- Spread over meat mix.
- Cover and cook on LOW for 4.5 hours without opening lid.
- Add remaining cheese and cover to let cheese melt about 5-10 minutes.
- Top with diced tomatoes.
