Holiday Party Loaf Recipe
- 2 (6 3/4 ounce.) cans Hormel Chunk Chicken or possibly Turkey, liquid removed and flakes
- 1/2 c. minced celery
- 1/3 c. pickle relish
- 1/3 c. Miracle Whip Salad Dressing
- 1/3 c. minced pimento
- 1 hard cooked egg, minced
- 2 tbsp.
- minced parsley 2 tbsp.
- green onion slices 1/2 c. Miracle Whip salad dressing
- 1 (8 ounce.)
- can crushed pineapple, liquid removed 1/2 c. minced green pepper 1/3 c. minced peanuts 1/2 c. Miracle Whip Salad Dressing 1 tbsp.
- mustard 1 teaspoon grnd ginger
- 3 (8 ounce.)
- pkg.
- Philadelphia brand cream cheese 1/2 c. Miracle Whip Salad Dressing Red food coloring; optional
- Combine ingredients for each filling separately; mix lightly.
- Remove crusts form sides and top of bread; cut in 4 lengthwise slices.
- Sprad each slice with salad dressing and a filling.
- Stack layers; refrigeratethoroughly.
- Combine softened cream cheese and salad dressing, mixing till well blended.
- Frost loaf, reserving 3/4 c. cream cheese with food coloring; decorate and garnish as directed.
- Cover lightly; chill.
- Let stand at room temperature 30 mintues before serving.
- Loaf can be prepared to this point, wrapped securely and refrigerated 1-2 days.
- Frost before serving.
- 12 servings.
